Say Cheese!

If you're thinking about a trip to Alcatraz, be forewarned: as you wind your way along the snaking line toward the ferry, you turn a corner and suddenly are confronted by a couple of over-enthusiastic photographers who are going to take your picture whether you like it or not. Too late, you realize you've been shuffled in front of a blown-up poster of your destination, and that you better smile, like, right now, because the camera waits for no one. 

Thanks to my parents for visiting last week ... and for splurging on the awesome photo. (Is it just me, or does Dave look like he's had a few shots of tequila?)
