We attended Polo in the Park today to both show our support of therapeutic riding programs, which help kids with disabilities make tremendous strides in both social and physical ways, and also to catch up with some friends I hadn't seen for, oh, about 15 years. Despite the gray day in Golden Gate Park, we enjoyed the wide range of activities, from polo (duh) to vaulting (sort of like gymnastics on a cantering horse) and Jack Russell terrier races (hilarious). It was one of those strange mixes of slightly weird and kind of cool.
